Turks & Caicos resort to donate up to 10 percent of all proceeds from bookings made in October

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos – October 6, 2011 – Ocean Club Resorts, a premier resort in Turks & Caicos for both families and couples alike, welcomes all guests to support the fight against breast cancer by simply "doing nothing at all" under one of the resort's signature pink umbrellas on the powdery sands of Grace Bay Beach. The resort, a longtime supporter of breast cancer awareness, will donate up to 10 percent of all proceeds from direct bookings made through the U.S. reservations office in the month of October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

"We are honored to be able to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an important time to recognize all of those who have been affected by the disease and continue to raise awareness for the cause, " said Tom Lewis, the managing director of Ocean Club Resorts. "Guests can book a fall getaway, relax under our signature pink umbrellas and know that they are simultaneously supporting a worthy foundation."

The resort will donate 10 percent of proceeds to the cause for all guests who book a Caribbean escape and travel now through October 31, 2011. In addition, the resort will donate five percent of proceeds for all guests who book by October 31, 2011 and travel is valid through October 31, 2012, blackout dates apply. Blackout dates include December 24, 2011 through January 2, 2012. Guests who book fall getaways directly through the U.S. reservations office in the month of October will not only help in the fight against breast cancer but can take advantage of limited time fall savings as well.

Guests can save up to 20 percent on fall getaways for stays of three nights or longer for travel now through December 20, 2011. Also, now through December 20, 2011, guests or travel agents who book stays of four nights or longer through the U.S. reservations office can request a complimentary room upgrade. This offer is based upon availability and certain restrictions apply.

With these savings, guests can experience all that Ocean Club Resorts has to offer while supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ideal for families, couples and mutigenerational groups, each Ocean Club Resorts suite offers fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes and most have washers and dryer combinations. The resorts offer complimentary bikes, fitness centers, swimming pools, tennis courts and tennis equipment. Ocean Club is adjacent to the Provo Golf Club, while Ocean Club West is a convenient walk to local boutiques, restaurants and a grocery store.
